A BNC is an acronym for a bouncer. A BNC acts as a proxy for internet relay chat (IRC), allowing your IP address to remain anonymous by using Virtual Hosts (VHosts). Here's a list of how psyBNC can benefit you:
· Remains connected to irc and maintains connection after closing your IRC client.
· Hidden IP address in DCC sessions. In similar services DCC sessions are opened and leave your IP ADDRESS visible. In psyBNC, the connection will bounce through the shell keeping 100% anonymity.
