The chat software requires the latest version of Java Sun to work. Go to the official java.com site to check if your computer is up to date. When first logging into the chat rooms, you will get a security popup asking whether to trust the chat software or not. If you click no the chat won’t load. You will need to reset your cookies/temp internet files to get the popup again and click YES.

I got disconnected "Must be Java"

This normally happens to very few people on the first time connecting to the chat server. It can also happen if a user is lagging. This is due to a custom IRC block we use. On connecting to the chat server your session send and receives data between the chat applet and chat server. If a user is lagging and does not send the necessary data the chat software need to confirm your connection. It will mistake you for a custom IRC client user and kill your session. A simple page refresh will solve this issue.
